3D Scan & Reverse Modeling
3D data capture
When physical parts need to be digitized, they can be captured with a 3D scanner and then processed further with 3D software. Component sizes or capture volumes of min. 30*30*30mm – max. 800*800*800 can be scanned with an accuracy of up to 0.1 mm.
3D data transformation
Depending on requirements, these scans can serve as a reference standard for new developments using 3D software, as the basis for a reverse engineering project (scan to CAD), or simply as a “scan to print” object.
