When producing prototype models, the material and its properties often determine the scope and necessary manufacturing processes. What used to be produced as a master model in a traditional craftsmanship manner with great effort can now be reproduced from a digitally created data set using common 3D printing processes.
The resin prints are designed according to their use. The first group (A) of prototype prints is assigned directly 1:1 to its use. Groups (B) and (C) are intended for casting production. Group (B) forms the basic master molds for the production of resin casting tools, and group (C) are rigid tool molds for casting elastic parts.
